Finally got around to fixing the preview problems on my CV page, turns out it was a linkedin specific issue. Having to diagnose multiple pathways asto what could have been the problem… fun. Whatsapp, Discord, everything else works. LinkedIn just seems special when it comes to it. Well, it should work now. If it breaks in the future? It shall remain so.
A few hours of generating a few color palettes later, I finally have a color scheme that I can call my own for the website, instead of having “inherited” it from the previous template.
Really did take three months to recover from web development…

Took me a whole lot of effort to figure out web development; after forking a code theme and a lot of effort, my respect for web developers has greatly increased.
I finally have a personal website to show for my troubles. The basic wesbite is ready. Blog posts as part of my projects I will add once I recover from just getting this project up and running.
